Location : Fort Collin, CO
position is responsible for the design, development, and testing of a database driven inspection management web application. In addition to creation of custom software within a close team environment, the candidate should exhibit excellent problem solving and data analysis skills. This candidate will be responsible for automating data inputs in order to modernize and streamline current processes. This candidate must be aware of and practice modern secure code practices. Familiarity with Federal Information Security Management practices is a plus. The senior level candidate will be able to work at the highest technical level of all phases of application development, systems analysis, and data analysis and manipulation. It is essential that this candidate have exceptional communication skills and can work well with other senior and junior team members as well as excel in rapidly changing environments.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
•
Develop, debug,
test, and fully document programs or processes following industry standards and
best practices.
•
Design efficient,
extensible, modular code from written requirements.
•
Perform
requirements analysis from formal and informal sources.
•
Translate
functional specifications into technical specifications.
•
Assist project
personnel in resolving complex program problems.
•
Diagnose
technical challenges by analyzing code and supporting technical documentation.
•
Develop test
plans to verify logic of new or modified applications.
•
Complete tasks as
assigned within deadlines.
•
Participate in
peer reviews.
•
Adhere to an
organizational CMMI Software Lifecycle Development Process.
Excellent knowledge and
skills in the following in the following areas:

Experience with
Windows Communications Foundation (WCF)
·
Experience with
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
·
Experience with
SQLServer Database including database design and data analysis
·
.NET and Visual
Studio
·
Experience in C#
·
Experience with
version control systems (Subversion, Perforce, Git, Clear Case, etc.)
·
Soft skills
include:
o
Ability to
analyze someone else’s code and assume ownership

Discipline to
document your own code
o
Ability to manage
multiple tasks with varying priorities
o
Ability to
communicate ideas in a variety of formats
Knowledge of the following
areas a plus:
