Position: Oracle DBA
Location: Parsippany, NJ
Duration: 6 months +
Must have :
- Oracle 9i, 10g and 11g software both on LINUX and Windows platforms
- Experience in MySQL or MS SQL
- Oracle 11g R2, RHEL 4.5/5, Erwin, Toad 11.6, OEM 12c, Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, RMAN
Requirements:
Experience on Oracle DB creation,
installation and Administration on AIX and Linux environments.
Extensive production Oracle DBA experience (ideally Oracle 10g, 11g).
Greenplum DB administration knowledge and experience.
Expert in Oracle fundamentals.
Strong Skills in setting up backup and recovery strategies using RMAN.
Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges)
Database Access Control - Implement database security to only allow authorized access.
Manage user accounts, its rights and privileges.
Knowledge of setting up an OEM for basic administration.
Knowledge of configuring and setting up maintenance activities for DB.
Able to perform high level SQL statements tuning and DB Tuning.
Patch Management, Maintenance and Administration of Oracle Databases.
Experience in problem analysis, determination and root cause analysis.
Knowledge with shell Scripting.
Knowledge on RAC.
Knowledge/Experience on MS SQL Basic Database Administration.
Extensive experience in upgrades, applying patches and DB maintenances in (10g and 11g)
