primary role of developer an agile team is to implement feature cards and
contribute to velocity. The developer is one of 4 other developers on the
cross-functional team and is expected to exhibit strong abilities in test
driven development, continuous delivery and simple design. Communication,
problem solving, technical capability and action orientation are imperative
competencies for this role.

Job Description:
Ø To be responsible for managing
technology in projects and providing technical guidance / solutions for work
completion
Ø Extensive experience on web
application architecture design and development on j2ee platform
Ø Design, develop and deliver software
on platforms in Java/J2EE
Ø Develop web application components
using JSP, Javascript and AJAX
Ø Develop server based software with
REST and other XML-based technologies,
Hibernate,
Spring MVC
Ø Implement OO designs applying working
knowledge of design patterns in presentation,
data
and business modules
Ø Collaborate with architects and leads
on design decisions and direction for web
application
requirements
Ø Drive or contribute to implementation
strategies in data modeling, data replication,
performance
and tuning, database and SQL optimization in the Oracle environment
Ø Contribute to requirement and design
reviews with business partners and other engineers
Ø Provide input on scripts and
automation tools which build, integrate, and deploy software
releases
to various platforms using experience in IDE & Enterprise Source Code
Control

including Eclipse
Ø Provide input on integration tests for
server- and client-side web applications using JUnit
and
open source testing framework like Selenium etc
Ø Investigate and resolve issues in
development, test and production environments
Ø Strong expertise in Core java, JSP,
Servlet and Struts.
Ø Proficient knowledge ORACLE(SQL/PLSQL)
and DB2
Ø Good knowledge of web sphere and
Tomcat.
